Nuke for Brainrot Fighter Tier List — S to D Rankings After Testing All Characters (May 2026)

I've been playing Nuke for Brainrot since launch and spent the last week testing every fighter to see which ones are actually worth upgrading. Here's the tier list based on real game testing.

S-Tier (Best Fighters)

Void Walker — Consistently the highest DPS in solo play. The triple-hit combo chains well and the passive lifesteal makes long fights manageable. If you can unlock this fighter, prioritize it.

Plasma Cannon — Highest burst damage. Terrible sustain but one-shots weaker enemies in PvP. The skill cap is high (you need to hit the charged shot), but once you get it, this is the PvP meta pick.

A-Tier (Solid Picks)

Iron Fist — The starter fighter that scales surprisingly well. Most players abandon it at level 5, but if you upgrade the passive "Combo Counter" to max first, the multiplier makes it competitive up to mid-game.

Storm Blade — Great AoE, mediocre single-target. Best used in rooms with multiple enemies. The spin attack has hidden knockback that's useful in PvP for positioning.

B-Tier (Situational)

Crystal Golem — Extremely high HP, very low damage output. If your team lacks a tank, this fills that role. In solo, you'll clear too slowly.

Shadow Clone — The clones deal 40% of your damage, which sounds good until you realize the cooldown is 45 seconds. Fun mechanic, but the math doesn't work out for consistent DPS.

C-Tier (Avoid for Now)

Basic Brawler — The tutorial fighter. Fine for the first 20 minutes, outclassed by everything above it.

Jester — The random damage variance is too wide. Sometimes it one-shots, sometimes it barely scratches. Can't build around RNG.

How I Ranked These

I ran each fighter through 20 rounds of the Challenge Mode (same map, same enemy type, same level cap). I recorded clear time, deaths, and final score. The tier list reflects consistent performance, not best-case scenarios. Some fighters with high ceiling potential (like Plasma Cannon) are ranked higher even if their floor is lower.

Active Codes for May 2026

Before you upgrade fighters, use these codes to get free boosts:

  • BRAINROTGANG — XP boost (1 hour)
  • LAUNCH2026 — Starter pack (equipment + coins)
  • Check the in-game Codes button for new drops — the developers post them on their Discord first.

Common Upgrade Mistakes

Mistake 1: Upgrading multiple fighters to level 3 before maxing one. Spread upgrades = no fighter strong enough for mid-game content.

Mistake 2: Ignoring passive abilities. The active ability is obvious, but most S-tier fighters have passives that change their entire damage model.

Mistake 3: Playing PvP before level 10. The matchmaking isn't capped, and you'll hit fully upgraded players.

What's your main fighter? I've been running Void Walker lately but curious if anyone's made Jester work consistently.
