Skill tracking for consulting firms and agencies. Instead of spreadsheets that go stale, managers send 30-second skill inquiries and data builds through conversation. Built on .NET 10, Marten event sourcing, Razor Pages + HTMX, Keycloak, Paddle.
Your org probably has a "Skills Matrix" spreadsheet. It's always out of date. Staffing decisions end happen through memory, Slack threads, and meetings that should have been unnecessary.
Skillustrator takes a different approach. Instead of asking people to maintain profiles, managers send lightweight skill inquiries — targeted questions answered in 30 seconds from a phone. Add what you can.
Every skill can capture three dimensions: expertise level, recency, and duration. Skill data builds through natural conversation, not homework.
Built by a two-person team at KilleenCode, LLC..
Our stack
.NET 10 and C# across the whole stack. ASP.NET Razor Pages + HTMX for the UI — server-rendered, no JS framework. Web Awesome (Shoelace successor) for components. Marten event sourcing on PostgreSQL for the write model and projections. Keycloak for OIDC auth. Paddle as merchant of record for global billing. Serilog + OpenTelemetry → Azure Monitor for observability. Deployed on Azure Container Apps, orchestrated locally with .NET Aspire.
