Finally, a video tool that doesn't hold my files hostage for an email 📧

Is it just me, or has the "Online Tool" experience become a nightmare lately? 👋

I just wanted to trim a 10-second clip for a LinkedIn post. I tried three different "Online Video Cutters" and here was my experience:

  1. Site A: Uploaded the file, trimmed it, then: "Sign up to download."
  2. Site B: No sign-up, but: "Processing..." (took 3 minutes for a tiny file) then a giant watermark.
  3. Site C: "File too large. Upgrade to Pro."

I was about to give up and open a heavy desktop editor when I stumbled upon Video Cutter.
It’s refreshing for a few simple reasons:
● No "Log-in" Wall: You just open the site, drop the file, and cut. No email, no password, no "newsletter" you'll forget to unsubscribe from.
● Zero Uploading: Apparently, it uses WebAssembly to do everything locally in your browser. My 200MB file was ready to download instantly because it never actually left my computer.
● Pure Utility: No watermarks, no "Pro" features hidden behind a paywall. Just a clean, minimalist UI (loving the light green vibes, by the way) that does exactly what it says.

It feels like one of those "old school" internet tools where the goal was just to be useful, not to harvest user data.

If you’re tired of the "Sign-up to download" trap, give this one a look. It’s saved me a lot of time this week. 🌿
