For emojis I just copy and paste from emojipedia
Using triple caret(`) to embed code is something nifty I've used before. Also you can use Jekyll front matter

@codebalance -- for emojis within the post, you can use your computer's emoji keyboard. Feel free to DM me if you have any specific questions, just followed you!
On Mac you can use Control+Command+Space to open the Character-Viewer which can be used to add every single Character/Emoji/Rune/Weird-letter there is.
