In the last year I taught myself to build three complete products from scratch using AI as my development partner.
A live sports prediction platform. An AI travel planner. A SaaS pricing intelligence API.
All live. All polished. Zero paying users across all three.
I'm not bitter about it. I learned more in one year than most people learn in five. But I'm being honest with myself now — I'm a builder, not a marketer. I love the craft. I don't love finding customers.
So I'm doing something different. I'm looking for a co-founder who has the customer relationships and the problem. I'll build the solution.
I build. You sell. We split it fairly.
Three live products to prove I ship: sportsprophecyapp.com | tripsync-ilao.onrender.com | saaspricedb.com
Company: Just Me Media | Canada | Remote friendly

Honest write-ups like this are the most valuable thing in the BIP space. Day 17 here on a niche industry SaaS, follower 17→25 yesterday alone but only because we narrowed to ONE product, ONE persona ("industry-specialized adult-night SaaS owners"). Zero users for 3 products feels like the cost of breadth, not effort. Picking the one with strongest "I literally need this today" signal compounds fast. Thanks for sharing the honesty — too rare.
Thanks edhiblemeer — I really appreciate this.
Your “cost of breadth” point is dead accurate. Spreading across three products definitely slowed momentum. Your Day 17 pivot to one product + one tight persona is smart, and it’s inspiring to see it already moving the needle for you.
For me these three products are live portfolio pieces for Just Me Media (justmemedia.ca). They demonstrate real production capability to potential clients in AI systems, web apps, and data tools. So I’m not killing any of them.
That said, I’m taking your advice seriously: I’m picking one to go all-in on for customer acquisition and marketing over the next 60–90 days while keeping the others as working demos.
Super grateful for the honest feedback — it’s rare and valuable.
Quick question: after you narrowed down, how long until you saw actual user/sign-up traction (beyond just followers)?
