Aight devs what's your go to coding music?

As the title says, what kind of tunes do you enjoy listening to while you do your work?

Personally I'm a grunge, country rock kind of guy, but every now and then my teenage nostalgia kicks in and I revert back to punk and metal.

Anything without words and some consistent tempo to be honest. If there's words I pick up on it and it distracts my concentration. Otherwise I'm fairly genre agnostic - but since electronic music tends to have a nice tempo and few words (or words in languages I don't speak and therefore don't attempt to parse) I tend to go through everything from Trance to Chillwave to Russian HardBass (avoiding mainstream english language EDM for the reasons given).

It really depends on the mood I am in and also a bit on the task I am working on.

Usualy I'm listening to Minimal or House but I also like the good old 90's πŸ˜… That is, most of the times, my friday afternoon music :)

For me, if you're going to do coding using today's frameworks, you have to be listening to today's music like Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, and yes, I'll admit I'm a Swifty, so I've been listening to Taylor's latest too.

If I had on 90's music, I'd probably have the desire to code in something like Fortran! πŸ˜„

I get the joke but Fortran was released in 57.

here's a list of programming languages released in the 90's

I know. I was just trying to think of some language that was used before I was even born. I'm sure there are plenty of them.

a few requirements:
-no words
-drum beat & bass line

So i usually end up with some jazzy house music, "Lofi Chill" or "Deep House"

if it's late at night or after lunch.. i'll need it uptempto or i'll fall asleep....

Usually, I put lyricless stuff on repeat but depends the mood and the tasks. Here is my complete theory on that:
